Xieyu Pill has the effects of dredging the liver and relieving depression (treating depression by dredging the liver’s qi) and nourishing the heart and tranquilizing the mind (stabilizing the mind by nourishing the heart).
It is effective in relieving liver depression and tranquilizing the mind by nourishing the heart. It is used for treating liver depression and stagnation of qi (poor qi and blood transportation of the liver, emotional depression), chest and rib distension and fullness due to disturbances of the heart and mind, depression and discomfort, palpitations (accelerated heartbeat, often accompanied by panic), irritability, insomnia and dreamlessness.
Contraindicated for pregnant women; prohibited for patients with external infection.
