Pneumonia with wet rhonchi turning into dry rhonchi is getting better.

The change from wet to dry rales in pneumonia indicates that the inflammation is being absorbed, which is a sign of improvement, but there are still pathologic problems such as narrowing of the airways, which still require aggressive treatment. When pneumonia occurs, inflammatory exudates from the lungs are stimulated by microbial infections such as bacteria, and the airways become narrowed, which is reflected in wet rales when the inflammatory exudates are evident. The disappearance of wet rales indicates that these inflammatory exudates have been gradually absorbed and is a sign of improvement. However, the presence of dry rales indicates that the narrowing of the airways has not been relieved and treatment needs to be continued. When patients develop pneumonia, it is recommended that they seek medical attention in a timely manner, under the guidance of a doctor, to promote recovery, and undergo regular checkups to observe whether the lungs have fully recovered.
