Enuresis refers to children over 5 years of age with normal urinary function who cannot control urination on their own during sleep. Occasionally, bedwetting may occur due to fatigue or excessive drinking before sleep, but it is not a pathological condition. Mostly due to deficiency of kidney qi, unable to consolidate, resulting in bladder restraint without the right to urinate; or due to deficiency of lung spleen qi, qi does not transform water spleen loss of health, resulting in water dampness does not work, infiltration into the bladder, the water channel is not to restrain and urination. Treatment: Strengthen the spleen and benefit the lung, warm the kidneys and fix the body. Acupuncture points: Zhongji, Bladder Yu, Sanyinjiao. Acupuncture is effective in treating enuresis, but for enuresis caused by certain organic lesions, the original disease should be treated; the family should cooperate closely during treatment and gradually develop the habit of getting up to urinate consciously.
