Efficacy of Afatinib Maleate Tablets

Afatinib Maleate Tablets have the effect of inhibiting the growth of tumor cells, and this drug is a second-generation targeted therapy drug. Afatinib can be used to treat locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) gene-sensitive mutations who have not received prior EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) therapy. The drug may also be used to treat locally advanced or metastatic squamous histologic type of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with disease progression during or after platinum-containing chemotherapy. Afatinib should be continued until disease progression occurs or is not tolerated by the patient. Adverse reactions to this product include diarrhea, onychomycosis, stomatitis, and other diseases, and it is contraindicated in patients who are allergic to this product.
