Suppurative sweatitis is usually not cancerous, but may become cancerous in cases of recurrent scarring reactions and recurrent bacterial infections.
Purulent sweatitis is an autoinflammatory reaction skin disease, if not treated in time, recurrent scarring reaction and secondary bacterial infection may occur.
If the scarring reaction is severe and a closed sinus tract is formed, it may lead to long-term bacterial growth, resulting in recurrent infections and frequent irritation of the surrounding tissues. Long-term non-healing may lead to cancerous reaction of certain skin tissues and secondary squamous cell carcinoma.
Patients with suppurative sweating inflammation should actively go to the hospital for regular checkups. Once the relevant manifestations of cancer are found, surgical treatment should be taken as early as possible.
