After surgery and drug treatment, the tumor was removed and the patient recovered well after surgery. Basic information】Female, 36 years old 【Disease type】Fibroepithelial tumor (lobulated breast tumor) 【Hospital】The First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University 【Time of consultation】August 2019 【Treatment plan】Surgical treatment (partial mastectomy) + oral medication (cefaclor extended-release tablets) 【Treatment cycle】In-hospital treatment for 13 days, monthly follow-up after discharge 【Treatment effect】Tumor The tumor was removed and the patient recovered well after surgery. The patient is a 36-year-old woman who reported that she found a lump in her breast during a physical examination one day ago. We examined the patient and could palpate the lump in the patient’s breast, which had a clear border with the surrounding tissues and good mobility. This type of tumor belongs to fibroepithelial tumor. After informing the patient of the diagnosis and explaining that surgical treatment of this disease has a better prognosis, and after full communication with the patient, it was decided to take surgical treatment as soon as possible. After the patient was anesthetized, the skin, fat layer, glandular layer and other tissues were incised layer by layer in her breast area to expose the tumor tissues, and the tumor tissues and breast tissues involved by the tumor were freed and excised, and then the glandular layer, fat layer and skin tissues were sutured layer by layer, and drainage tubes were left in place, and the patient was sent back to the ward after she was awake. In addition, I also prescribed oral medication, i.e. cefaclor extended-release tablets for the patient, thus preventing secondary infection in the postoperative period. III. Treatment effect On the day of operation, when I checked the ward, the patient was already awake, in good mental condition, relatively clear consciousness, body temperature 36.6℃, heart rate 76 times/minute, respiration 16 times/minute, blood pressure 81/110mmHg, and no other abnormalities. On the third day after surgery, there was no adverse reaction such as nausea, vomiting and rash during the administration of cefaclor extended-release tablets, and the drainage fluid in the drainage tube was clear, and no large amount of blood or fluid leakage was seen during the drug change. On the 13th day of postoperative treatment, the incision site recovered well after surgery, and the diet, urination and defecation, and sleep were all normal. No breast lump was palpated during physical examination, and no abnormalities such as lobulated hypoechoic masses and lobulated masses at the breast were seen after the follow-up ultrasound. I was very happy to see that the patient’s condition was gradually controlled and successfully discharged from the hospital. Since fibroepithelial tumor has the possibility of recurrence, I repeatedly advised the patient at the time of discharge that he should visit the doctor for monthly review so that he could keep abreast of the changes in his condition and make corresponding treatment measures in time if the disease has the tendency to deteriorate or recur. In addition, patients should eat a light diet, avoid frequent and large amounts of stimulating food, and exercise reasonably every day according to their own situation, such as jogging, playing badminton, etc. They should also rest on time and maintain emotional stability, which in turn is beneficial to their health to a certain extent. V. Personal insight Some diseases may not make patients feel abnormal symptoms in the early stage, or even progress to the advanced stage of the disease when there are uncomfortable symptoms, which is a greater threat to their own health and life safety, and then regular annual medical checkups are very important. Fortunately, the patient in this case had the habit of regular medical checkups, and her fibroepithelial tumor was detected in time at the medical checkup center, and she did not have adverse symptoms such as breast swelling and pain, so she was treated well. This shows that it is important to have annual physical checkups on time, so that the disease can be detected at an early stage, and targeted treatment can be carried out, and the disease can usually be better controlled.
