Sinusitis is an inflammatory disease of the mucous membrane of the sinuses, caused by bacterial, fungal, viral and other infections. It is mainly characterized by pus, nasal congestion, head and face pain and other symptoms.
1. Medication: Sinusitis can be treated by medication such as budesonide, fluticasone propionate and other glucocorticosteroids can reduce the inflammatory response of the nasal mucosa; in the acute stage, antibiotic drugs such as cefixime and azithromycin can be used to control the infection.
2. Surgical treatment: If the efficacy is not good after regular treatment with medicines, nasal endoscopic surgery can be considered to correct the anatomical abnormality of the nasal cavity and improve the ventilation and drainage of the nasal cavity.
It is recommended that patients with sinusitis should take medication under the instructions of a physician and should not take medication on their own.
