The normal range of alanine aminotransferase is 0 to 40. High transaminase 85 may be due to physiological factors or due to pathologic factors such as viral hepatitis, fatty liver, cirrhosis and so on. 1. Physiological factors: alanine aminotransferase exists in liver cells, long-term alcohol consumption will lead to inflammation of liver cells, resulting in the release of aminotransferase from liver cells into the blood, and the level of aminotransferase in the blood rises significantly. 2. Pathologic factors (1) Viral hepatitis: the liver is damaged due to infection with hepatitis virus, and the rupture of liver cells releases alanine aminotransferase into the blood, which leads to an increase in aminotransferase level in the blood. (2) Fatty liver: Damage to liver cells caused by massive fat infiltration of liver cells, resulting in the release of aminotransferase into the bloodstream, leading to an increase in the level of aminotransferase in the blood. (3) Cirrhosis: In cirrhosis, the liver is also damaged, so the transaminases in the liver cells are also present in the blood for a long time, resulting in high levels. It is recommended to go to the hospital immediately to avoid delaying the condition, quit smoking and drinking, avoid staying up late, and develop good living habits.
