What kind of ointment should I apply to my forehead if it doesn’t hurt or itch?

Buns on the forehead that don’t hurt or itch may be epidermoid cysts, acne, etc. Epidermoid cysts need to be surgically removed, and acne can be treated with topical ointments such as clindamycin, retinoic acid, and azelaic acid.
1. Epidermoid cysts: a common benign tumor of the skin, preferably on the face and upper trunk, the lesions are well-demarcated nodules, usually without itching or pain. It needs to be treated by surgical excision, and topical medications cannot play a therapeutic role.
2. Acne: It can lead to pimples, red papules, nodules and other damages on the forehead. Patients need to use topical antibiotic ointment such as clindamycin and fusidic acid, or Vitamin A cream such as Vitamin A acid ointment and Adapalene gel, or azelaic acid, benzoyl peroxide gel and other medications under the guidance of a doctor. Some moderate to severe acne needs to be treated with a combination of oral medications.
It is recommended that patients with painless and itchy bumps on the forehead go to the hospital for consultation, and cooperate with the doctor for medication or other treatments after clarifying the cause of the condition.
