The maximum dosage of amoxicillin

The maximum daily dose of amoxicillin should not exceed 4g, 1 dose of 0.5g every 6-8 hours for adults, and the maximum dose of 4g should not be exceeded. If used for acute urinary tract infections, it can be used alone, 1 dose of 3g is sufficient, or an additional dose of 3g can be added for 10-12 hours. In the process of using amoxicillin, care should be taken not to overdose, mainly because of the adverse effects caused by amoxicillin. There can be symptoms such as oliguria, impairment of kidney function or liver function as well as the appearance of rash, gastrointestinal reactions, bloating, stomach pain and stomach discomfort. Amoxicillin is used to treat infections caused by sensitive bacteria and is a very good drug as an antibiotic, but the maximum dosage should not exceed 4g.
