All-ceramic restorations after root canal treatment

There are several ways to restore all-ceramic teeth after root canal treatment, mainly inlays depending on the location of the missing tooth and the area of the defect. If the defect is small, an inlay restoration can be performed, or a high inlay restoration can be performed. High inlay restorations are usually done with the section of the defect as far above the gum as possible, when the amount of tooth preparation can be reduced by high inlays. If the defect is large, a full crown restoration can also be performed, or if the defect is even larger, a pile crown restoration may be required. After root canal treatment is the restoration of dental defects, generally there are so many main types. The decision of which method to use for restoration of post-root canal defects requires a thorough examination by the clinician.
