【Treatment regimen】Oral medications (ethylpyrazine Rifaximin Tablets (II), Silymarin Glucosamine Tablets, Phenolsulfonamide Tablets)
【Treatment period】9 months of drug treatment

I. Initial consultation
The patient was admitted to our hospital with cough and sputum with blood in the sputum, and was considered to have lung cancer in the middle lobe of the right lung with obstructive pneumonia and mediastinal lymph node metastasis by outpatient intensive CT, so he underwent right middle lung lobectomy and lymph node dissection. Therefore, the patient was admitted to our department to further improve the examination to clarify the diagnosis. Combining with the patient’s condition, further tuberculin test was performed, and local redness and hard nodules appeared; tuberculosis spot test was performed, and the cells reacted specifically with tuberculosis.
II. Treatment history
After the patient was admitted to the hospital, genetic testing was performed and it was determined that there was no drug resistance, so I told the patient that he could be treated with medication, but the period of medication was long and the patient needed to take medication regularly. During the medication treatment, the patient developed a small amount of hemoptysis, I gave the patient comfort and told him to rest in bed, and then gave the patient phenolsulfonamide tablets to stop the bleeding.
III. Treatment effect
After 3 months of anti-tuberculosis treatment, the patient’s lung CT examination was repeated, and the foci of tuberculosis were reduced, and the ALT and AST were normal, suggesting that the liver function was also normal and no liver function damage occurred, indicating that this treatment plan was effective for the patient. After the patient went home, he continued to take the medication, and after 6 months, the lung returned to normal, and the patient reported that the cough and other uncomfortable symptoms had disappeared, and the tuberculin test and Mycobacterium tuberculosis spot test were negative, suggesting that the TB was cured.
IV. Notes
The patient in this article had just finished the treatment of lung tumor and was diagnosed with pulmonary tuberculosis. He was a bit depressed at the beginning of the treatment, but gradually the treatment took effect and his discomfort symptoms were improving, so he gradually became cheerful, and I was happy for him when I saw the change in his mental outlook. I reminded the patient that anti-tuberculosis drugs must be taken on time and that he should be concerned about his health during treatment. If abnormal symptoms such as yellowing of the skin, difficulty seeing and hearing loss occur, he should go to the hospital in time to adjust his medication for the situation and treat the side effects of the drugs. In addition, you can eat more protein-rich foods such as eggs and yogurt in your daily diet, which also has a positive effect on the recovery of the disease.
V. Personal insight
If you have symptoms such as coughing, coughing up sputum, or blood in the sputum, you need to be alert to tuberculosis, and it is recommended that you try to visit a hospital and get treatment as soon as possible after diagnosis. Like the patient in this article, the disease was controlled sooner after medication because the treatment was relatively timely. And by timely control, the chances of transmitting TB to others can be reduced. In daily life, you should develop the habit of opening windows regularly to promote air circulation and reduce the chance of infectious diseases, and strengthen physical exercise appropriately to improve your physical fitness.
