Is prostate cancer a cancer with a low mortality rate



The mortality rate of prostate cancer is low among all kinds of malignant tumors, and the survival rate of all periods of prostate cancer is higher than 70% in 5 to 10 years after active treatment.

Prostate cancer is a disease originated from malignant hyperplasia of prostate epithelium, and there are adenocarcinoma, ductal adenocarcinoma, squamous epithelial carcinoma and so on in the pathologic typing, and most of them belong to adenocarcinoma. Patients often suffer from abnormal urination, pelvic discomfort, and also cause and erectile dysfunction.

More than 80% of prostate cancer belongs to 65 years old patients. Moreover, this kind of cancer grows slowly, causes less damage to the body and is not easy to metastasize, and the prognosis of patients who have undergone regular treatment is generally better. The survival rate of early prostate cancer is about 95% in 5 to 10 years, and the survival rate of locally advanced prostate cancer is about 70% in 5 to 10 years.
