It is generally considered to be postural hypotension when the systolic blood pressure drops 20 mmHg or the diastolic blood pressure drops 10 mmHg after standing up compared to the lying position. Postural hypotension can cause symptoms such as dizziness, darkness, and syncope. Postural hypotension can occur in the primary state as well as in the secondary disease state. In the primary state, it is mostly caused by phytodysfunction, and physiochemical treatment is recommended, such as respiratory exercise to adjust the phyto-sympathetic innervation. For secondary neurological disorders, such as neurological diseases, systemic treatment is recommended to address the cause.
