Effective treatment of gastroparesis

  A patient with gastric surgery who developed gastroparesis after gastric ulcer surgery and could not eat was treated with the application of a small intestinal tube and a gastric tube with rehydration. The patient was observed to have a grayish complexion, poor mental health, and a thick white tongue coating. We developed a program, starting with massaging the back bladder meridian, the stomach acupoint and surrounding acupoints, and massaging the gastrointestinal reflex zone of the head, the three li of the foot and the gastrointestinal reflex zone of the foot, and instructed that we could drink ginger soup with red dates and cinnamon water, soak the feet in hot water until the body sweats slightly every night, and insist on simple exercise, face shield wall 30 times a day. After 1 week of adherence, the patient’s symptoms improved significantly, 2 weeks can be removed from the gastric tube, into the liquid food, and now the patient normal diet.
