Can food prevent UTIs?

Uremia cannot be prevented by food, but active treatment of underlying diseases, controlling protein intake, and avoiding triggers of renal function deterioration can protect renal function and slow down the progression of kidney disease.
Uremia is the end stage of various chronic kidney diseases, such as hypertensive nephropathy, diabetic nephropathy, IgA nephropathy, etc. Adhere to the long-term reasonable treatment to prevent the progression to end-stage renal disease. Avoid and eliminate the triggers that cause rapid deterioration of renal function, such as infection, urinary tract obstruction and diarrhea.
Restrict protein diet to reduce the production of nitrogenous metabolic wastes, alleviate the symptoms and related complications, and also slow down the progression of the disease.
Patients with underlying renal disease, in order to avoid rapid progression to uremic stage, should be regular hospital visits, standardized treatment under the guidance of doctors.
