What’s wrong with the pupils?

Pupil constriction may be related to craniocerebral diseases, uveitis, Horner’s syndrome, organophosphorus poisoning and other diseases, the patient needs to go to the hospital in time, to clarify the cause of the disease, and to treat the cause.
1. Craniocerebral diseases: cerebral infarction, cerebral hemorrhage, brain tumor, meningitis and other craniocerebral diseases may lead to pupil constriction, and patients may also have headache, hemiplegia, vomiting, shock and so on.
2. Uveitis: patients with uveitis caused by infection, injury, etc., under the stimulation of inflammation, conjunctival congestion, eye pain, blurred vision, dark shadows in front of the eyes and other discomforts, and pupil constriction may also occur.
3. Horner’s syndrome: Horner’s syndrome, also known as pediatric cervical sympathetic paralysis syndrome, due to any compression and destruction of any section of the pathway from the sympathetic nerve center to the eye, can cause pupil constriction, but the reaction to the light is normal, and the sick side of the eyeballs are inverted and other manifestations.
4. Other: In addition, if the condition of organophosphorus poisoning is serious, the patient may also have pinpoint pupils.
