Occasional dizziness, nausea and sweating occur when sitting into standing up, consider that it may be due to postural hypotension, hypoglycemic attack, vertebral artery stenosis, anemia, otolithiasis and so on.
1. Postural hypotension: It refers to the sudden drop of blood pressure when the patient’s body position changes or when standing for a long time, resulting in insufficient blood supply to the brain, cardiac tissues and other organs, leading to transient ischemia and hypoxia, and symptoms such as dizziness, nausea, fatigue, panic attacks, sweating, etc., which can be relieved after resting in general.
2. Hypoglycemic attack: When the blood glucose concentration of the body is low, sympathetic nerve excitation and hypoxia of brain cells can occur, manifested as cold sweat, panic, dizziness, nausea and other symptoms.
3. Vertebral artery stenosis: Vertebral artery is a blood vessel supplying blood to the posterior circulation of the brain, and the lumen can be narrowed due to atherosclerosis, cervical spondylosis compression and so on. After activity, it can lead to ischemia in the posterior circulation of the brain, triggering symptoms such as dizziness, nausea and sweating.
4. Anemia: when anemia causes insufficient blood supply to the brain, dizziness, nausea and sweating can occur when sitting and standing up.
5. Otolithiasis: also known as benign positional vertigo, obvious dizziness, nausea and sweating after activity, obvious nystagmus, and vomiting in severe cases.
Sudden dizziness, nausea, sweating and other discomforts, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time and standardize the treatment.
