How to treat peri-implantitis

Peri-implantitis may not heal on its own and can only be done by a specialist implantologist. If the inflammation is not very extensive, the patient can be treated with local anti-inflammatory and targeted treatment. If the inflammation is large enough to cause bone resorption, but the implant is not loose and can be retained next to it, the patient can put artificial bone powder to make it unstressed for a period of time, take out the braces, and after the growth is stable, the patient can make a new brace.
