How to deal with breast nodules detected in physical examination

As health checkups become more popular and screening instruments are updated, breast nodules are being found more frequently, and many women are becoming fearful of them. What is a breast nodule? A breast nodule is a lump in the breast. A lump that can be felt is called a breast lump, while a lump that cannot be felt can only be found by ultrasound is called a breast nodule. As you can see, breast nodules are a phenomenon, not a disease. Breast nodules can be found in various breast diseases, such as mastocytosis, breast fibroadenoma, breast cancer, breast cysts, etc. Nevertheless, breast cancer can be found in breast nodules. Nevertheless, the percentage of breast cancer in breast nodules is very low. The majority of breast nodules are benign diseases, and 90% of breast nodules are benign. Why do breast nodules develop? Genetic and environmental factors: Modern medicine believes that marriage, diet, the external environment of human existence and genetic factors are the main causes of mammary gland development. Endocrine disorders: The human endocrine system is closely related to the breast, and the endocrine system promotes breast growth and development through the secretion of estrogen. Other factors: In a fast developing society, women are often stressed, overworked, and have a disharmonious sex life, which can lead to a hormonal imbalance in women, which can lead to breast nodules. How are the different levels of breast nodules treated? According to the relevant diagnostic guidelines and principles, the indications for the management of breast nodules should be based on BI-RADS grading. Grade 2 and below: The risk of cancer is almost 0, but regular follow-up is recommended, e.g., once a year. Grade 3: Probably benign lesions with less than 2% chance of malignancy, short-term follow-up is recommended, e.g., once every 3-6 months. Grade 4: The risk of cancer can be increased to about 3-94%, and biopsy is usually needed to further clarify the condition. However, grade 4 can be subdivided into a, b and c. Among them, 4a is low possible malignancy, 4b is moderate possible malignancy, and 4c is more likely to be malignant but lower than grade 5. Grade 5: highly suspicious of malignancy, when the malignant manifestations of solid masses >3, the chance of malignancy is about 95%, and surgical excisional biopsy is required. Grade 6: pathologically confirmed malignant lesion. How to prevent breast nodules? Maintain a good state of mind Many women are under more pressure in the workplace and at home, so they are usually prone to anxiety and stress, and the level of progesterone in the human body will be affected over time. It is recommended to maintain a good state of mind, get less angry, lose less temper, and maintain emotional stability. It is recommended to keep a good attitude, less anger, less temper, and keep emotionally stable. Irregular work and rest can cause hormone secretion disorder and aggravate breast enlargement. Maintaining a harmonious sex life can regulate endocrine disorders. Keeping your bowels open will reduce breast swelling and pain. Regular medical checkups Breast ultrasound is an effective way to detect breast nodules, so women should develop the good habit of regular annual medical checkups to detect breast lesions in time through annual breast examinations.
