Three major indicators of liver cancer

There are 3 indicators to confirm the diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma: imaging manifestation of hepatocellular carcinoma, elevated alpha-fetoprotein, and liver histopathological biopsy. 1. Imaging manifestations of hepatocellular carcinoma: abdominal CT scan + enhancement is most commonly used. CT scan of hepatocellular carcinoma is mostly low-density shadow, but the low-density shadow can be benign lesions such as cysts, hemangiomas, etc., so it is necessary to do enhancement CT to identify it, and the enhancement is a fast-in-fast-out performance. In addition, for small hepatocellular carcinoma of 1 to 2 centimeters, the correct diagnosis rate of hepatic arteriography is more than 90%. 2. Elevated alpha-fetoprotein: alpha-fetoprotein is a specific marker for diagnosing hepatocellular carcinoma, if alpha-fetoprotein is more than 400ng/ml or persistently more than 200ng/ml after excluding pregnancy and germ cell tumors, it is necessary to be alerted to hepatocellular carcinoma, and go to the hospital to have relevant examination in time. 3. Liver histopathological biopsy: ultrasound or CT-guided puncture biopsy is a reliable indicator for diagnosing liver cancer. If patients are diagnosed with liver cancer, they should go to regular hospitals in time, and under the guidance of doctors, actively carry out treatment according to their specific conditions.
