What causes gastric sinusitis?

Gastric sinusitis is categorized into acute gastric sinusitis and chronic gastric sinusitis, and its causes include dietary patterns, physical factors, chemical injuries, infections, and other factors.
1. Acute gastric sinusitis
(1) Dietary patterns: long-term consumption of raw and cold or overheated, stimulating, pickled food, or long-term alcohol abuse, etc., is likely to stimulate the gastric mucosa, causing some damage to the gastric mucosa, which leads to gastric sinusitis. For example, regular alcohol consumption can directly damage the gastric mucosal barrier, thus causing edema, bleeding, erosion and so on.
(2) Physical factors: such as a large number of radiation irradiation, can cause the gastric sinus mucosa membrane erosion.
(3) Chemical damage: excessive application of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs can cause gastric sinus mucosal congestion, edema, erosion.
2. Chronic gastric sinusitis
(1) Infection with Helicobacter pylori: the main reason for the development of chronic gastric sinusitis. The secretion of Helicobacter pylori can mediate the inflammatory reaction, thus leading to gastric mucosal lesions.
(2) Pyloric sphincter relaxation: If the pyloric sphincter relaxes, it can lead to reflux of duodenal fluid, which can damage the gastric mucosa and also cause chronic gastritis.
In addition to the above causes, portal hypertension can also cause stasis and hypoxia in the mucosa of the gastric sinus, thus causing inflammatory reactions. It is recommended to go to the hospital in time, complete the relevant examination, under the guidance of professional physicians to clarify the cause of the disease, and then give targeted treatment or therapy.
