In addition to the necessary drug interventions, the main methods of rehabilitation training after stroke include exercise therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and psychotherapy, cultural and physical therapy, and traditional physical therapy. Exercise therapy in traditional Chinese medicine is a general term for active exercise, passive exercise, and therapeutic methods to improve movement disorders, mainly including joint mobility training, muscle strengthening training, posture correction training, and neurophysiological therapy. Occupational therapy mainly includes dysfunction evaluation and training, cognitive and perceptual training, daily living ability evaluation and training, self-help support selection, home environment modification, design and guidance. There is also speech therapy, which triggers and reinforces the patient’s correct speech response through auditory, visual, olfactory and other multi-pathway stimulation, and psychotherapy, whose main methods are supportive psychology, emotional therapy and behavioral therapy.
