There are two main acupoints located in the center of the hand, namely, Laogong Point and Shaofu Point.
1. Laogong Point: Located on the pericardium meridian of the syncopal yin of the hand, in the metacarpal area, transverse to the proximal end of the 3rd metacarpophalangeal joint, between the 2nd and 3rd metacarpal bones to the 3rd metacarpal bone, easy to take: half a clenched fist, under the tip of the middle finger is the point. It can be used to treat acute diseases such as stroke coma, heat stroke, heart pain, chest tightness and other heart diseases, epilepsy and other psychiatric disorders, mouth sores, bad breath, goose paws and so on.
2. Shaofu Acupuncture Point: Located on the Shaoyin Heart Meridian of the hand, it is situated on the palm surface of the hand, transverse to the proximal end of the 5th metacarpophalangeal joint, between the 4th and 5th metacarpal bones. The point is located on the palm surface of the hand, transverse to the proximal end of the 5th metacarpophalangeal joint, between the 4th and 5th metacarpophalangeal bones. This point can be used to treat cardiothoracic disorders such as palpitations (rapid heartbeat, often accompanied by panic) and heart pain, yin disorders such as yin itching and yin pain, carbuncles and ulcers, and contracture pain of the little finger.
