Chenpi Pu’er Tea

Chen Pi’s effects include regulating qi and strengthening the spleen, drying dampness and resolving phlegm (removing phlegm from the body with dampness-drying medication), etc. Pu’er Tea can conserve the intestines and stomach, and has a certain alleviating effect on symptoms such as constipation, dry mouth and halitosis. Chenpi is a qi regulating medicine with bitter and pungent flavor, warm nature, and belongs to lung and spleen meridians. It mainly treats abdominal distension and pain, loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting, diarrhea caused by stagnation of qi in the spleen and stomach; cough and phlegm caused by cold and dampness. This medicine should be used with caution in cases of internal solid heat, yin deficiency and dry cough, coughing up blood, and vomiting blood. Avoid long-term excessive consumption of strong tea, avoid drinking tea on an empty stomach, should not drink tea before going to bed, overnight tea should not be consumed. Pregnant women and people with weak spleen and stomach should not drink tea. It should be noted that tea is not a substitute for medicine, and the efficacy of herbal tea is not as good as decoction.
