Does Argipressin work?

Argipressin is useful and has antidiuretic, blood pressure raising, and ACTH (adrenocorticotropic hormone) stimulating effects.
1. Antidiuretic: Argipressin, also called antidiuretic hormone, activates protein kinase by binding to the antidiuretic hormone receptor in the renal distal tubules and collecting ducts, thus phosphorylating the membrane protein of the epithelial cell membrane of the renal tubules, increasing the permeability to water, and increasing the reabsorption of water.
2. Elevate blood pressure: Argipressin, also called vasopressin, can cause vascular smooth muscle contraction, thus elevating blood pressure.
3. Excitement of ACTH: Argipressin has similar effects as adrenocorticotropic hormone-releasing factor (ARF) and can promote the release of ACTH (adrenocorticotropic hormone), thus promoting the synthesis of adrenocorticotropic hormone.
