Leakage of urine after the use of a double J-tube is an abnormality. It may be caused by abnormal position of double J tube orifice, pelvic floor muscle dysfunction, or infection caused by the use of double J tube. 1. Abnormal position of double J-tube orifice: double J-tube has the function of stent and internal drainage, which is a means to prevent postoperative complications such as urine leakage, and symptoms such as postoperative urine leakage need to be examined to see if the double J-tube is correctly placed. If the mouth of the double J tube does not fit tightly into the bladder, it will cause urine leakage from the bladder, which will lead to urine leakage after using the double J tube. 2. Pelvic floor muscle dysfunction: If the improper use of double J tube damages the pelvic floor muscle dysfunction caused by the pelvic floor muscle, resulting in a weakening of the pelvic floor muscle to the bladder binding force, triggering the patient to use the double J tube after the occurrence of urinary leakage. 3. Infection: If the Double J tube is not strictly sterilized during operation, it may cause bladder infection, which may lead to decreased ability to hold urine, resulting in the phenomenon of urine leakage after using the Double J tube. The leakage of urine after the use of double J tube is not normal, it is recommended that patients go to the regular hospital in time to avoid delay, in order to reduce the adverse effects of the disease.
