Hepatitis E with normal liver function is not considered cured. Hepatitis E patients with normal liver function only indicates that the liver has recovered well, and whether it is cured also depends on the patient’s serology related tests.
1. No cure: when liver function is normal in patients with hepatitis E, if anti-HEV-IGM is positive in the serologic test at the same time, or accompanied by anti-HEV-IGG is positive at the same time, the hepatitis E virus still exists in the body at this time, and there is no cure.
2. Cure: When liver function of hepatitis E patients is normal, if the serological test of anti-HEV-IGM is negative, accompanied by anti-HEV-IGG is negative, there is no hepatitis E virus in the body at this time, which is a manifestation of cure.
Hepatitis E patients should standardize the treatment under the guidance of physicians.
