How to review microinvasive lung adenocarcinoma after surgery

Review after micro-invasive lung adenocarcinoma is carried out at certain intervals, generally every 3 months during 1~3 years after surgery; every 4~6 months during 3~5 years after surgery; and once a year for more than 5 years. Review items include chest CT, abdominal ultrasound, brain MRI, tumor markers, bone scan and so on. Among the above review items, tumor marker test in blood, chest CT and abdominal ultrasound are usually the items that must be reviewed every time. If the patient does not have brain symptoms such as headache after surgery, brain MRI is usually sufficient once a year. If the patient does not have bone pain or other symptoms, a bone scan can be performed once a year. The purpose of postoperative review is mainly to monitor the condition, timely detection of recurrence or metastasis, and timely treatment.
