Should I have early surgery for meniscus injury?

Meniscus injuries should be operated on as early as possible. If surgery is performed late there will be the following problems: 1. The tear will increase, resulting in more meniscus being removed in future surgery, and the more meniscus removed, the greater the postoperative impact on the knee. 2. Early surgery will make the chances of suture repair of the injured meniscus significantly higher, and after the meniscus is sutured, if it heals, it will be similar to not having been injured. Postponing the surgery will make the suture opportunity lost. 3. Even if the meniscus is completely removed, there is less wear and tear on the joint than a torn meniscus in the joint. In order to prevent accelerated degeneration of the knee joint, early surgery should be performed. 4, Early surgery can resume all activities such as life, work, sports or normal training for athletes as soon as possible.
