On the day after surgery, ankle flexion and extension activities can be performed. On the second postoperative day, if the pain can be tolerated, you can get out of bed, and should carry out straight back elevation training: supine position, straighten the knee, elevate the lower limb to 30°-45°, maintain for 30 seconds and then put it down, and repeat. Do this twice a day for 30-60 minutes. Weight-bearing activities and knee extension and flexion activities can be carried out when pain permits. However, do not endure pain and force knee extension and flexion, otherwise it will cause synovial membrane extrusion in the joint and aggravate synovial membrane congestion and edema. On this basis, strengthen the knee extension and flexion activity training. Knee extension and flexion activity training will be slightly painful, but should adhere to the training. As the synovial inflammation subsides, the pain during mobility training will gradually decrease. Extension and flexion exercises should be performed twice a day for 30 minutes. Leg presses are also performed to ensure that the knee is fully extended. After some recovery of muscle strength, weight hanging exercises were performed on the ankle until a 5kg weight could be hung on the ankle. The training time was 15 minutes twice a day. Increase the weight-bearing half-squat training on the affected side, half-squat range 0°-45°. Begin with a double-legged squat and then transition to a single-legged squat on the affected side. 2 times a day, 30 minutes each time. Suitable for most patients, please refer to your personal condition and the advice of your supervising physician and rehabilitation specialist for specific implementation.
