There is no such thing as a combination of Amaranth and anything that is mutually exclusive. Amaranth is not recommended to be used with turtle shell if it is included in a decoction formula. The drug should be treated scientifically under the guidance of a doctor.
Amaranth, sour flavor, cold nature. It belongs to the liver and large intestine meridian. It has the effect of clearing heat and removing toxins, cooling the blood to stop bleeding, and stopping dysentery. It is used for fever and blood dysentery (dysentery caused by feeling heat and poison, see blood in the stool), carbuncle boils, eczema, dengteng (acute infectious diseases, see the skin red like paint), snake bites, blood in the stool, hemorrhoid blood, leakage (excessive menstrual flow or more than a few drops of blood) and other diseases.
Do not use Amaranth where the spleen and stomach are cold, and the intestines are slippery for leakage.
