San Jin Tablet, composed of Jin Cherry Root, Sarsaparilla, Sheep’s Tongue, Golden Vine and Centella asiatica. It is used for heat drenching (burning stinging pain obvious when urinating, accompanied by urinary frequency and urgency, and discomfort of traction in the abdomen), short and red urine (small amount of urine, dark yellow color), gonorrhea and astringent pain, and urinary urgency and frequency due to dampness and heat in the lower jiao; acute and chronic pyelonephritis, cystitis, and urinary tract infections are seen in the above mentioned symptoms.
Qianqian Cao, sweet, salty, slightly cold in nature, belongs to the liver, gallbladder, kidney, bladder meridian, mainly used for the treatment of damp-heat jaundice, gallbladder distension and dystocia (pain in the area of dystocia and ribs), stonelike drenching (discharging sand and stones during urination, or sudden interruption of urination, urethral pain, lumbar and abdominal cramps and intolerable pain), heat drenching, astringent pain in urination, carbuncle and furuncle, snake and insect bites, etc..
