If your baby has not yet grown teeth at the age of one, you can go to the stomatology department to take a full mouth film, which is also called a surface tomogram, to see the arrangement of the teeth in the jawbone, and to see whether there are any missing teeth, or it may be due to malposition of the teeth. Also, it can’t be ruled out that the baby is not growing yet because he or she is developing slowly and teething late. As long as the radiographs show that the teeth in the jaws are normal and the number of teeth are not missing, you can be patient that your baby is teething. Generally, babies grow teeth between the ages of 6 months and 2.5 years, some children a little earlier, some children a little later, these are normal phenomena. Teeth will be aligned by the age of 2.5 to 3 years, usually 20 baby teeth, but some children may have missing teeth. If all the teeth are missing, a denture should be made to restore them.
