Bisoprolol fumarate tablets are used in the treatment of essential hypertension and angina pectoris. It is contraindicated in those with second or third degree AV block, decompensated heart failure (pulmonary edema, hypoperfusion or hypotension), clinically significant sinus bradycardia, sick sinus node syndrome, cardiogenic shock, poor peripheral circulation perfusion, and severe peripheral vascular disease.
