The majority of patients with syphilis of the stomach are male, and most of them are 30-50 years old. It is a rare disease of the stomach. In the early stage of syphilis, there is no significant change in gastric acid, and in the late stage, there is a decrease in gastric acid secretion. In advanced syphilis, there is narrowing of the gastric sinus, weakened peristalsis of the gastric wall and the formation of large irregular ulcers after rupture of the dendritic swelling, which are difficult to distinguish from cancerous ulcers in appearance.
