Do benign meningiomas grow fast?

Since benign meningioma is mentioned, it must be compared with malignant meningioma, which has a slower growth rate than malignant meningioma, mainly because the tumor cells divide and proliferate more slowly and take longer to multiply. If the tumor grows around the skull, the normal surrounding skull bone will restrict the growth direction of the meningioma and will also limit the growth. Clinically, patients come to the clinic with a sense of discomfort, but they may have a history that goes back months or years, often showing a slow progression of aggravation.
