There is no such thing as the best treatment for cervical disc herniation. Herniated cervical discs need to be treated according to the patient’s condition, and usually can be fixed with braces, neurotrophic drugs, surgical treatment and other treatment options. 1. Fixation with braces: The cervical spine can be externally immobilized by wearing a scarf or neck brace to reduce the movement of the cervical spine and the intervertebral discs, and gradually reduce the swelling of the cervical nerves. After rest and treatment, the symptoms can usually be reduced. 2. Neurotrophic drugs: As herniated discs often cause compression on the nerves, the nerves will be edematous in this case, and some neurotrophic drugs can be used, such as vitamin B1, methylcobalamin, etc., to nourish the nerves, relieve the edema and alleviate the symptoms. 3. Surgery: If the cervical disc herniation is very serious, causing compression of the nerve root and the spinal canal, minimally invasive intervertebral foraminoscopic surgery can be used to remove the nucleus pulposus of the intervertebral disc, which can completely relieve the cervical spinal cord and nerve compression. The above medications are recommended to be used under the guidance of a physician.
