Can you eat honey with diarrhea?

Honey is not recommended for diarrhea. Diarrhea is mostly an inflammatory infection, or cold and flu and eating unclean and irritating food, resulting in symptoms of acute enteritis, which can mostly show bleeding and edema of the mucosa as well as increased osmotic pressure, causing increased diarrhea. Honey often helps in the discharge of stool and has the effect of lubricating the intestinal tract. The symptoms of diarrhea itself, on top of drinking honey, may lead to an increase in diarrhea, so when diarrhea occurs, do not drink honey as much as possible, or take light food as the mainstay, drink more water and pay more attention to rest. Also give appropriate symptomatic treatment with montelukast, norfloxacin capsules and loperamide hydrochloride capsules. If accompanied by fever, need to improve the blood ion analysis examination, to exclude other inflammatory infections, if necessary, need to give norfloxacin, levofloxacin and cephalosporins symptomatic support treatment.
