Jin Kui Kidney Qi Pill has the function of warming kidney yang, moving qi and resolving water, and can be used to treat edema, back pain and asthma. It is composed of eight medicines, namely Shu Di, Shan Yao, Cornu Cervi Pantotrichum, Fu Ling, Ze Di, Dan Pi, Radix et Rhizoma, Cinnamon, and is mainly used for kidney yang deficiency, in which Shu Di can nourish yin and blood, Shan Yao can strengthen the spleen and stomach, and Cornu Cervi Pantotrichum can nourish the liver and kidney. These three medicines are the three tonics. Fu Ling, Ze Di and Dan Pi are the three diarrhea medicines, which can lightly penetrate and remove dampness and evil qi.
