Breast lumps are the most common manifestation of breast disease, especially painless lumps are the first symptom of breast cancer. Benign lumps have clear, smooth borders and are highly mobile. Common diseases include: (1) Fibroadenoma: It is commonly seen in young women and can be removed or followed up after a clear diagnosis. (2) Breast cysts: can be caused by a variety of reasons, mostly benign. (3) Breast hyperplasia: clinically divided into simple breast hyperplasia, cystic hyperplasia and breast adenopathy, which should be reviewed regularly by a breast specialist and need to undergo pathological examination if necessary. Malignant lumps: indistinct borders, hard texture, unsmooth surface, and low mobility. Common diseases include breast cancer and breast sarcoma. Breast lumps can increase rapidly and invade the skin or pectoralis major muscle, and may also be accompanied by enlarged axillary lymph nodes. If a breast lump is found during self-examination or routine physical examination, you should consult a breast clinic as soon as possible to receive standardized examination to exclude malignant tumors.
