Types of HPV

HPV, or human papillomavirus, is one of the most common pathogens of sexually transmitted diseases, especially in gynecological diseases, often causing external genital warts, cervical intraepithelial neoplasia, etc. Nowadays, the common types of HPV in general are 6, 11, 16, 18, 32, 33, 45, 52 and 58. among them, types 16 and 18 are associated with 71% of cervical cancers and 31, 33, 45 and 52 are associated with 18% of cervical cancers. The high-risk carcinogenic types in China are 16 and 18, and the high-risk types of condyloma acuminata are 6 and 11, which can cause cancer of the anus and vulva.
