Sleeping all the time in advanced stage of lung adenocarcinoma may be caused by physiological factors such as overwork, poor sleep quality, malnutrition, brain metastasis of lung adenocarcinoma, electrolyte disorders and so on.
1. Physiological factors: If patients with advanced lung adenocarcinoma are overworked recently, it will lead to physical overdraft and poor sleep quality, which may cause the body and brain not to get enough rest, thus causing the phenomenon of sleeping all the time.
2. Malnutrition: lung adenocarcinoma is malignant tumor and belongs to consumptive disease. If patients have improper diet or too little food for a long time, it will lead to malnutrition, resulting in physical decline, and thus the phenomenon of sleeping all the time.
3. Brain metastasis of lung adenocarcinoma: patients with advanced stage of lung adenocarcinoma may also have tumor cells metastasized to the skull, forming brain metastasis. Patients mainly manifest symptoms such as headache, nausea, confusion, etc., and some of them also have the phenomenon of sleeping all the time.
4. Electrolyte disorders: patients with advanced lung adenocarcinoma usually eat poorly, which may lead to electrolyte disorders, hyponatremia, hypokalemia and so on, resulting in symptoms such as fatigue and sleeping all the time.
It is recommended that patients with advanced lung adenocarcinoma sleeping all the time should consult doctor in time, improve the examination under doctor’s guidance to clarify the cause of disease and carry out targeted treatment.
