Ambulatory tooth extraction is a relatively large surgery in oral surgery, so the recovery may be a little slower than other ordinary wisdom teeth, tooth extraction or other ordinary tooth extraction because the trauma is larger. Generally, the swelling and pain will subside in about 1 week, but of course it will take some time for the wound to heal completely. 1 month or so, the gums will basically close, and then it will take about 3 months for the bone to basically finish healing. It takes about 3 months for this kind of bone wound to heal, and it is generally recommended that dental implants be inserted or implanted after 3 months.
