What to eat for tinnitus and deafness

Tinnitus and deafness may be related to cerumen impaction, secretory otitis media, senile deafness and other diseases. Depending on the cause of the disease and the degree of the disease, we need to choose the general treatment, medication and assisted artificial hearing treatment. Food cannot treat tinnitus and deafness. It is necessary to target medication and treatment according to different diseases.
1. Cerumen impaction: Cerumen accumulation and blockage of the ear canal due to excessive secretion of cerumen in the ear canal and poor drainage, which stimulates the tympanic membrane and produces tinnitus. Tinnitus and deafness can be relieved after the cerumen is completely removed.
2. Secretory otitis media: It is mostly caused by dysfunction of the eustachian tube, infection, allergic reaction, neuritis and gastroesophageal reflux disease. After the formation of middle ear effusion, tinnitus and conductive deafness symptoms can occur. Antibiotics such as amoxicillin and cefaclor can be chosen for Haemophilus influenzae, Streptococcus pneumoniae and other pathogens to fight infection. Prednisone and other glucocorticoids can be taken orally.
If the effect of conservative treatment is not good, it can be used to pinch the nose and puff, Bo’s ball method or catheter method for the eustachian tube blowing, or tympanic membrane puncture, tympanic membrane incision and tympanic membrane tube surgical treatment.
3. Age-related deafness: Deafness caused by the aging of the auditory system; or deafness that occurs in the elderly and is not caused by other reasons. Early wearing of appropriate hearing aids is recommended.
Patients with tinnitus and deafness can actively seek medical systematic examination, after a clear diagnosis, follow the doctor’s instructions to standardize the treatment.
