How is PPH used to treat mixed hemorrhoids?

A mixed hemorrhoid is one in which the venous plexus above and below the rectal dentate line in the same area is simultaneously varicose, enlarged, and congested, communicating and anastomosing with each other, and the sphincter sulcus disappears. The surface of the hemorrhoid nucleus above the tooth line is the rectal mucosa, and the surface of the hemorrhoid below the tooth line is covered by the skin of the anal canal, which is commonly known as a whole formed by the internal hemorrhoid part and the external hemorrhoid part, then it is called a mixed hemorrhoid. The symptoms of mixed hemorrhoids have the characteristics of both internal and external hemorrhoids. In general, internal hemorrhoids are present first, and later, due to varicose veins, they are accompanied by external hemorrhoids. It mostly occurs at the truncated position 3, 7 and 11 points. Therefore, the diagnosis is not difficult, as long as the patient is asked to make a bowel movement and struggle the anus, the internal hemorrhoid part can be quickly released or engorged and bulged. Mixed hemorrhoids are common among anorectal diseases and can occur at any age except in children and adolescents. The main symptoms of mixed hemorrhoids are hemorrhage and prolapse, which bring a lot of pain and inconvenience to the life and work of the patient; while long-term blood in the stool makes the body weak and even produces symptoms of anemia such as atrophy, dizziness, blurred eyes, and weakness. Mixed hemorrhoids can generally be divided into the following categories. The main symptoms of mixed hemorrhoids are: 1. Blood in the stool: blood in the stool or ejected blood, bright red blood, not mixed with feces. 2, swelling and pain: there is a downward or foreign body feeling in the anus, and the internal hemorrhoid part is very easy to prolapse when forceful during stool. 3.Prolapse: As the internal hemorrhoid often prolapses outside the anus, the mucous membrane is stimulated and the mucus secretion increases a lot, which can lead to dampness, itching and inflammation or eczema of the perianal skin. PPH technology is also known as “supra-hemorrhoidal mucosal circumferential hemorrhoidectomy”, which is a new technology based on the new understanding of the pathogenesis of hemorrhoids caused by anal cushion lesions. It is a new technique based on a new understanding of the pathogenesis of hemorrhoids caused by cushion lesions. How does PPH treat mixed hemorrhoids? PPH surgery uses a special instrument called “PPH anastomosis” to remove the prolapsed rectal mucosa above the hemorrhoid in a circular fashion. During the operation, the anus is firstly opened and the rectal mucosa is circularly sutured at about 4 cm above the dentate line (the junction line between the rectum and the anal canal), then the PPH anastomosis is inserted into the anus, and the anastomosis can remove the prolapsed mucosal band. Since the rectal mucosa above the dentate line is innervated by painless nerves, patients have almost no pain after surgery; and since the surgery not only removes the prolapsed rectal mucosal band, but also blocks the terminal anastomotic branch of the terminal rectal artery, eliminating the root cause of hemorrhoids, it has a very ideal treatment effect on internal hemorrhoids. It has the characteristics of quick effect, quick recovery and no pain after surgery. PPH has a great advantage over traditional surgery, and its main advantages are as follows: 1. safety: no need to remove the anal cushion, the maximum degree of preservation of the normal function of the anus, to avoid complications such as anal stenosis and anal incontinence. 2, painless: pulling the hemorrhoids out of the anus back to their original position, while truncating the blood vessels that provide blood to the hemorrhoids, without damaging the perianal skin, so there is almost no pain after surgery. 3.Little trauma and quick recovery: The anastomosis circumferential resection of mucosa is a non-open wound with little bleeding, which eliminates the trouble of changing medicine after surgery and allows you to resume normal life soon. 4.Clinical hemorrhoids, multi-flap hemorrhoids, huge isolated hemorrhoids, internal hemorrhoids, external hemorrhoids, circumferential mixed hemorrhoids, embedded hemorrhoids, etc. 5.Suitable object: Because of less damage, it is especially suitable for middle-aged and elderly people, white-collar people who pay attention to efficiency and those who relapse with traditional treatment, and patients with mild prolapse and internal prolapse of rectal mucosa.
