What’s wrong with diarrhea and weakness?

Diarrhea with water and weakness may be caused by infectious enteritis, inflammatory bowel disease, gastrointestinal dysfunction and other conditions resulting in dehydration, infections and fever, electrolyte disorders and so on.
1. Dehydration: diarrhea and diarrhea lead to a large amount of water loss, which may induce dehydration, resulting in pallor, body aches and weakness, fatigue, mental depression, decreased urine output and other symptoms.
2. Infection and fever: due to bacteria, viruses and other pathogens invade the gastrointestinal mucosa, triggering intestinal infections, causing diarrhea and diarrhea accompanied by fever symptoms. When the body temperature rises beyond the normal range, symptoms of weakness can occur.
3. Electrolyte disorders: after frequent diarrhea, potassium, sodium and other electrolytes may be lost, once the body lacks potassium, sodium will trigger electrolyte disorders. The most common is excessive loss of potassium ions, i.e. hypokalemia can be manifested as limb weakness, and in serious cases, it may cause cardiac arrhythmia, resulting in life-threatening.
There may be other reasons for diarrhea and fatigue, if the above symptoms occur, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time for regular treatment.
