What’s wrong with being dizzy and feeling like the world is spinning?

Dizziness, which feels like heaven and earth are spinning, may be caused by benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, posterior circulation ischemia, cervical spondylosis, and iron deficiency anemia.
1. Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo: clinically known as otolithiasis, which is usually caused by the otolith dislodging into the semicircular canal due to the sudden and large positional change of the head, and may be accompanied by rotating vision, nystagmus and other manifestations.
2. Posterior circulation ischemia: usually caused by narrowing or blockage of the posterior circulation vessels due to cerebral atherosclerosis, due to insufficient blood supply of the posterior circulation arteries, dizziness may be induced, and the feeling of heaven and earth rotating may be accompanied by numbness and weakness of the head and face, and so on.
3. Cervical spondylosis: Commonly seen in vertebral artery type cervical spondylosis, which can easily lead to vertebral artery compression, resulting in insufficient blood supply to the vertebral basilar artery, which may cause dizziness, a feeling of heaven and earth spinning, and may be accompanied by headache, neck pain and other manifestations.
4. Iron deficiency anemia: when iron deficiency anemia is more serious, resulting in serious blood supply to the brain, oxygen supply is insufficient, it may show dizziness, feel heaven and earth spinning, may also be accompanied by pale face, body weakness and other manifestations.
Dizziness and feeling that the world is spinning may also be caused by other reasons, which should be taken seriously and go to a regular hospital as soon as possible.
