The five-year survival rate of cervical cancer mainly depends on the stage of the disease, pathological type, treatment and patient’s condition, which fluctuates from 9.3% to 90%.
The 5-year survival rate of cervical cancer, early stage cervical cancer can be cured by surgery, and its 5-year survival rate reaches more than 90%, middle stage cervical cancer can be treated by surgery or radiotherapy, and its 5-year survival rate is about 60%, and the 5-year survival rate of advanced stage cervical cancer is about 40%.
For cervical cancer stage 1A1, IA2, IB1, IB2, IIA11IA2, IIA, IIA, IVA, IVB, the 5-year survival rate is 97.5%, 94.8%, 89.1%, 75.7%, 73.4%, 65.8%, 39.7%, 41.5%, 22.0%, 9. 3% respectively. It can be seen that clinical stage is the most important influence on prognosis.
Other special cervical cancers, such as neuroendocrine type, clear cell type and small cell type have poorer prognosis.
It is recommended to go to the hospital for early diagnosis and treatment of cervical cancer so as to avoid delaying the condition, and the earlier it is detected, the earlier it is diagnosed and treated, the better the prognosis is.
