The survival period of patients after bone marrow transplantation is mainly related to whether the transplantation is successful or not, whether there is recurrence and post-transplantation infection, immune rejection, etc. Generally speaking, the survival period varies from a few years to more than ten years, and some patients can achieve long-term remission of the disease, or even cure. 1. Patients who need bone marrow transplantation are generally considered to have a more serious condition, usually heavy or very heavy retrovascularization. If there is a HLA compatible sibling donor, he/she can choose bone marrow transplantation, and his/her surgical success rate is more than 90%. Patients who have a successful transplantation, if they recover well after the operation, they will have a longer survival time, and they can even return to their normal work, study, and life. 2. However, some patients will have recurrence after transplantation, mostly within 3 years after transplantation, or serious infection or immune rejection after transplantation, in which case the treatment is more difficult and the prognosis is poorer. It is recommended that re-transplantation patients actively cooperate with doctors to prolong the survival period.
